The Coachella 2024 festival will be headlined by Lana Del Rey, Duja Kat, Tyler, The Creator, and No Doubt, as Golden Voice announced Tuesday. Featured in the poster below, the lineup includes a diverse array of artists such as Peso Pluma, Blur, J Balvin, Ice Spice, Sublime, Lil Uzi Vert, Grimes, Victoria Monet, Jon Batiste, Bleachers, Justice, Deftones, Lil Yachty, and features emerging talents such as Bizarrap, Khruangbin, and more. The 23rd edition of the festival is scheduled to take place over the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21 at its traditional venue, the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
YouTube is set to return as the exclusive live stream partner for both weekends of Coachella in 2023, streaming the festival on its official YouTube channel.
In its third year, Coachella’s festival poster features a unique fourth headline slot at the bottom, distinguished by font size but without a specific date. This unorthodox placement has led to speculation about its significance, with it initially being considered a late-night dance slot or an insurance headliner in case of cancellation. Last year, the slot saw Blink-182 replace Frank Ocean on the second weekend, adding to the mystery. This year, no doubt, the meaning of this position is unclear.
This marked the second year in a row with a last-minute change in headliners. In 2022, the scheduled headliners were Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and a collaborative set by The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, the latter replacing Kanye West, who withdrew days before the festival’s first weekend. .
As North America’s largest music festival, Coachella has already sold out all 125,000 daily tickets for its upcoming event.
